How to Buy a Piece
On this web site you can search for or browse through our designer makers. When you have found the piece(s) you would like to buy, please contact us by telephone on +44 (0) 20 7921 9708/9704, by e-mail or via the ideas basket. We will check to see if the piece is available for sale. If any particular piece is not, many of our makers will have or be able to make a similar edition. We will then contact you by telephone or e-mail to arrange your purchase from the maker.
All images on the site are accurate photographic reproductions. We can arrange for you to see the piece or something similar at the maker's studio.
How to Commission a Piece
Finding the right designer maker
The most challenging task is finding the right designer maker, so we have designed the most sophisticated but user-friendly web-site to do so. The site will enable you to search for a specific piece. Once you have identified a piece by a maker who interests you, you will be able to check their location by region and access their personal portfolio for more examples. You can also view their prices and their commissioning procedure and an up to date biography. Once you have identified a maker you would like to commission, contact us by telephone on +44 (0) 20 7921 9708/9704 or e-mail. We will contact you by telephone to discuss your requirements in greater detail.
Our role
Throughout, our staff are ready to assist by telephone on + 44 (0) 20 7921 9708. We will discuss your requirements, such as design, materials, time scale and budget, and pass this information to the maker of your choice. The maker will contact you direct to finalise all details. Studio or workshop visits can be arranged.
Once all the necessary details are agreed, and, if appropriate, a short contract drawn up, the commission can begin. We will invoice you on behalf of the maker in the agreed instalments. We normally provide for payment by two equal instalments, the first due before the commission is started and the second on completion of it. We will monitor the progress of the commission generally.
Wedding List Service
We offer Brides and their grooms the facility to compile a list of pieces they would like their families and friends to consider as wedding gifts. We can e-mail the list to wedding guests individually or we can create a special web page, with its own address, for your guests to access directly. If desired, our staff can manage the wedding list for the couple.

Your Ideas
Use the basket to collate images of the pieces you wish to compile for your ideas. Share the basket of your ideas with family and friends or with colleagues and clients, so that you can discuss your selections with them. Simply send the ideas basket to as many e-mail adresses as you wish. Purchases
Compile a shopping list of pieces you would like to buy. A running total of the costs will be calculated and there is also a currency converter, should you need to check the sterling amount in your own currency. Send the basket to us. We will check the availability of your chosen pieces and contact you by telephone to arrange your purchases from the makers.
