Commissioning Procedure
As I only make one off pieces, I visit the client to discuss the project. Talk about the function, where the work is to be situated, show pictures of other examples of my work, so that together we can form a brief that I would work to. I would then produce sketch ideas to showing various ways that I would like to develop the project. Finally producing a final design in the form of drawings or models depending on the complication of the design.
Depending on the size of the project the design fee is absorbed into the final price. I work within a fixed ceiling price, or estimated prices as all design as each piece is indi-vidual and is developed as a piece of art. I am paid in stages through out the commission, depending on the arrangement with the client.
I am willing to see clients at my home or workshop by appointment.
Pricing Policy
All designs are individual with the prices fixed with each customer.
These prices do not include design time, which is usually 10% depending on size of commission.
Small tables start from £5500, dining table and chairs £14300, set of four chairs £6300 and arm chairs £500.
