Commissioning Procedure
I like to work in close liaison with a client to find out their exact requirements. Often this would include a visit to the location of the prospective commission to view the environment where the piece will be housed so as to get a feel for the client's tastes and to be in sympathy with them.
After an initial consultation I would draw up proposals, which would be then shown to the client and discussed and any necessary adjustments made.
The time scale of delivery will depend on the complexity of the work being undertaken, usually between 6 - 10 weeks. During production, the client will be kept informed of progress and is welcome to come and view proceedings at the workshop.
Clients are welcome to visit the workshop, an appointment is recommended.
At present I do not wish to take on an apprentice.
Pricing Policy
Prices are worked out from an addition of the material costs plus production time. Commission enquires will be quoted and this price will be adhered to.
Materials include wood, metal and glass.
Shelves start from £1550, stools £1200, tables £1350 and a double bed £2200.
