We were in business. For the next 2 years we worked long hours, had some lucky breaks made many mistakes but were able to keep our heads above water.
JANUARY 1994
Bought a small kiln. Enabling us to paint on glass take on Stained glass commissions, at the same time experiment with glass fusing and moulding.
JUNE 96
A dishonest landlord and unfortunate circumstance - we had to move quickly
AUGUST 96
Found new premises and set up a new workshop and studio
Expense, disruption and no longer had any passing trade - we had a very tough year.
JUNE 97
A billboard became available on Clapham High Street
We took it - more work started trickling in .We held an open studio - our reputation spread and our finances improved. It has proved an invaluable step to move to a centre where there are other crafts and trades working all being able to encourage and support each other.
JANUARY 98
Helpful advice from our accountant " work on your business not just in it." Another site exhibition and a year on and we increased our turnover by 50%.

Alexander's Procedure:
A highly motivated and experienced craftsman with in depth knowledge of both on site and studio projects of all sizes. Is very artistic, with proven creative talents combined with business and managerial experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys responsibility and professionalism.
Teresa's Procedure:
An extremely versatile designer /administrator with experience in a wide variety of organisations working comfortably in many different mediums on diverse projects from painting a 15 foot question mark to designing and organising a Pageant on the Thames Flexible and creative. Accustomed to working to both in team situation and on her own.
Drawing on our experience we can create designs sympathetically for your buildings aesthetic and period or choose from our comprehensive portfolio of Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco and Nouveau designs.
We have an extensive stock of coloured and textured glass both modern and antique enabling us to recreate authentic designs and match for repairs and renovation.We’ll measure-create-and install.We are happy working with architects, interior designers and private clients.
