Sean Feeney
 
Sean has been designing and making fine custom furniture for more than 20 years. A qualified cabinet-maker, he holds four prestigious Craft Guild Marks from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. This Mark is awarded only to items that demonstrate excellence in design, materials, workmanship and function.

Sean has created fine furniture for a wide range of private and corporate clients. Usually his clients are so keen to receive their completed commissions that there is no time to show them off, but occasionally he is able to display his work, and has exhibited at the Distinctive Homes Interior Show in Alexandra Palace London, the Interior Design International Show at Earls Court in London, and at a select few galleries in the UK.

Many people have become disillusioned with today's mass-produced furnishings and flat-pack approach to furniture: gone is the individual approach and commitment to quality in furniture-making that allowed our grandparents and great-grandparents to collect pieces of fine furniture which only improved with age.

Creating contemporary designer furniture with Sean Feeney is a unique experience: an opportunity both to express yourself through the skills of one of the UK's leading bespoke furniture makers; and to create an item of extraordinary beauty and lasting quality for your home. Commissioning a piece of fine furniture is a chance to leave your mark on the future.
Studio visits are welcome.

 
Commissioning Procedure
Creating classic furniture is a process of consultation, development and loving attention to detail. Sean Feeney - leading uk furniture designer, master craftsman and holder of the Furniture Makers' Guild Mark - spends many hours in discussion with the client during the commissioning process, refining and focusing ideas, getting to know the client's particular requirements and tastes, and gaining an understanding of the context of your home and the selected situation for the piece being commissioned.

Only once every smallest detail has been considered, and the client feels that the design is a true expression of their ideas and feelings for the piece, will work commence on the piece itself. Though Shane welcomes studio visits, as each commission is an unique piece, made for that particular client it would impossible to view the work shown at his studio.

Pricing Policy
Sean is unable to give specific prices for every item of furniture displayed on this site, since each piece is made to order and costs can vary according to factors such as materials used, finish required, and the techniques employed.

Sean is pleased to discuss commissions with clients from anywhere in the world.
